In my video „myTsubo“ I dealt with the issue of a broken heart. With its length of 4:33 min it also understands itself as a tribute to John Cage and his performance music piece: „ 4:33 „. In my video you can see a ceramic pot filled with water, which catches water drops blown in by the wind. The water drops symbolize the events in life that are received and stored in a vessel, representative of one‘s own body. When the water drops hit the water in the vessel, they create waves in concentric circles. These vibrations are manifested in the water and the image that appears on the surface. It reflects the sky above the vessel. The mirrored image is divided in the middle into light and dark, referring to the dualism in yin and yang. The who- le video is a very Slow Motion image in which the things that can be seen are changing in a barely perceptible way. I am standing as a person in front of the vessel, you can see my feet and a part of the red robe I am wearing. By slowing down the recording, one perceives much more intensely how the wind plays with the robe and blows rain drops into the vessel. Just the way incidents are carried into ones life. „myTsubo“ deals with the passing age of one‘s own lifetime. It is the view of one‘s own life, which, like the vessel, constantly receives, listens and stores.
